Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Avril Morrison, I am a scientist and have a PhD in Cell Biology, I run "Understanding Cancer", a cancer information service. I provide face to face training to Doctors in Aberdeenshire Scotland and give talks to schools and community groups.

For those of you that can't make it to Aberdeenshire, I make my courses available on the web.

 

I can't register/login!

Click on "New User" at the very top right of the screen. You need to use an email address as your username. If you have forgotten your pasword click  "Forgotten Password" to get a new one. If you're still having problems, contact us and we'll sort it out.

 

Do you charge for your web courses?

The first course I've put up on this website is called "A Quick Introduction to Cancer Cells" It is free. It takes about 20 minutes to complete. When I put my longer courses up, I will charge for them via PayPal.

 

 

Can you answer medical questions?

No!  I am not a medical doctor, I know lots and lots about cells but not much else! Sorry!  This website is for information only, if you have any worries about your health or the health of a friend or family member then see your own doctor.

What is your privacy policy?

This course is hosted on the My i Course website, your email will not be used to send you junk mail.  You can read the My i Course Privacy Policy here. If you are a Mac user try viewing the website using Firefox or Camino. We are aware of problems when trying to access our courses using Safari.
